The EVAC Varsity AICS Boys Basketball team has done it! After an undefeated regular season, they capped it off by winning the AICS Championship Tournament over the past two days, securing their title as AICS Champions!
This team isn’t just winning—they’re dominating. Playing a fast and physical style of basketball, the EVAC boys push the pace, grabbing rebounds and turning them into quick buckets off fast breaks. Their relentless full-court press and high-volume three-point shooting make them one of the most electrifying teams to watch. And now, they’re playing some of their best basketball at exactly the right time as they prepare for the NCHBC National Tournament in Springfield, Missouri next week.
Led by seniors Caleb Doran, Jackson Tresler, Mark Blakemore, and Dylan Castellanos, and under the guidance of coaches Micah Tresler and Albert Malo, this team has built a culture of toughness, teamwork, and relentless effort. Every game, they come out hungry, setting the tempo and dictating the pace.
Over the course of the AICS Championship Tournament, they showcased everything that makes them special—smothering defense, quick transitions, deep three-pointers, and a never-quit mentality that kept them ahead of every opponent.
