WHAT: EVAC would like to know who is interested in coaching next year (2025/26) at any level and for any sport. While many of our coaches hope to return next year it is always good for us to know who has a desire to serve in this way. EVAC fields teams for Elementary (basketball), Junior High and High School sports (flag football, indoor/beach volleyball, basketball, soccer, baseball, golf, and cross country/track & field).
WHO: EVAC coaches are typically parents, alumni, or friends of EVAC families.
HOW: EVAC head coaches must interview with the team and coach management committee or the athletic director and complete an EVAC coaching application. Multiple coaching courses and fingerprint clearance are required.
EVAC assistant coaches must also complete an EVAC coaching application as well as coaching courses and background check.
WHEN: Please let us know of your interest now. Even if you are not sure or do not know which level of position you would like it is good to know general interest. The team and coach management committee typically reviews existing coaches, considers new inquiries, and conducts interviews in April/May with coaching announcements not being made until after the completion of our 2024/25 year in late May.
