elementary Girls basketball

Elementary teams are targeted for students in grades 4-6. Team size and players on the roster will be determined by the coaches.  

Practices begin in early December with regular season games beginning early January.  The season runs through the the third week of February. Post season tournament play runs through the first week of March.

The elementary boys team typically participates in one tournament each year. It is the tournament in California called March Gladness. You may find out more information about that tournament here - https://californiahomeschoolsports.com/march-gladness

All athletes MUST complete EVAC 2024-2025 Registration prior to tryouts.

Tryouts dates are typically in November. Please be sure to subscribe to our Announcements and download the EVAC app to stay up to date on all EVAC info.

Practice locations are TBD. Practice duration will be approximately 1-2 hours long two to three times per week after school hours. We work to limit practices on Wednesdays and do not hold practices on Saturdays or Sundays. Once the season starts, teams will have no more than three to four games or practices per week.

Most clinics and tryouts take place in the weeks/month leading up to season start. Check the Announcements page and subscribe to the Announcements to know when those are scheduled.

There are typically three fees for each season: team fees, uniform fees, and tournament fees. Team fees include CAA league fee, estimated costs for facilities and referees, and insurance and other administrative costs. Uniforms are player-owned, meaning that at the start of each season, players that are rostered are required to purchase a uniform to be a part of the team, but the uniform is then owned by the player and is the player's responsibility. If the player is a returning player for that team and the uniforms have not changed, the player can use the same uniform from the previous season. Tournaments are a separate cost vary based on the tournament location.

$550 team fee, $50 uniforms, $50 tournaments
